Runway Run
 

When was the last time you were able to go for a stroll on an airport tarmac? With the Special Olympics Indiana Runway Run presented by Anthem, now you can! A new event, held in conjunction with the FedEx Plane Pull Challenge, the Runway Run features a unique, 7.27 K-as in Boeing 727 aircraft-course through the airport grounds. The event will also feature a one mile fun run / walk perfect for all members of the family!

Grab your family, friends, co-workers and classmates and support your favorite College or University in the College Colors Day 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, August 28th benefiting the Myles Brand Chair in Cancer Research. This year's race will feature a scenic course along the White River State Park Canal, with a start and finish location at the NCAA® Hall of Champions. The August Muncie Tri/Du/Run/Aqua-bike will be held on Aug 7th, 2010 and will feature an outstanding course on rolling hills held at Prairie Creek Reservior in Muncie, Indiana. The home of multi-sport events since 1980, this is one of the best venues in the country and features a parking and transition area adjoining, rolling hills, family park area and great racing!

Tri Ancilla Sprint Triathlon in Donaldson, IN
 

The Tri Ancilla Sprint Triathlon will take place on the scenic grounds of the Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ Ministry Center, home of Ancilla College in Donaldson, IN, for an enjoyable morning of racing for area competitors. The USAT Certified Sprint Distance triathlon consists of a 500 Yard Swim, 11.0 mile bike, and a 5k run.  The field is limited to the first 200 registrants.

Carmel Classic 10k Sponsered by the Runners Forum

The Inaugural Carmel Classic will be held in the Carmel Arts and Design District.  This race will raise funding for the Carmel Dad’s Club, which supports and aides youth athletic development in the community.

The festivities for this all new family event will include a “Take it Easy 10K” and a “Running out of Summer Family 3K.”

The 2010 event will be officially sanctioned by the USATF governing body, and offers IPICO chip timing by The End Result.

S.W.A.T. Tri
 

The S.W.A.T. Tri includes two races; an Olympic distance tri with a collegiate division and a sprint tri. The race is located at gorgeous Chain O’ Lakes State Park in Albion, IN and consists of a very challenging course.

This year’s inaugural event will feature the 2010 Midwest & Mideast Collegiate Championship, Olympic Distance & Sprint Distance Triathlon followed by many family fun activities & demonstrations presented by the local S.W.A.T.

A portion of your entry fee & sponsorship dollars will go to support the S.W.A.T. teams of Indiana.

Indianapolis Monumental Marathon Event and Results 2010
 

This beautiful course is flat and fast and a good Boston Marathon qualifier. The Monumental starts and finishes near the Indiana State Capitol Building in downtown Indianapolis.  Excellent accommodations, restaurants, stores and museums are all within walking distance of the start/finish line.  Course highlights include beautiful monuments, Lucas Oil Stadium (home of the Indianapolis Colts), the Arts Garden, the Mass Ave cultural district, beautiful neighborhoods, Broad Ripple, Butler University, the Indianapolis Museum of Art and more.

Tecumseh Trail Marathon
RF Event Sponsor The Tecumseh Trail Marathon course provides a scenic and challenging route in Morgan-Monroe and Yellowwood State Forests. A major portion of the 40-mile Tecumseh Trail is used for the race course. Participants will be shuttled by bus from the Yellowwood Lake area to the starting line, near the Morgan-Monroe State Forest office.
